Reading short stories can be surprising, enriching, compelling all in a compressed timeframe. In an era of scrollers, let's stay readers. We'll read short stories together and talk about art, life and what it means to be human. In this course of six meetings, we'll read approximately three short stories each week. We'll meet for an hour and a half on Thursday evenings. All questions, thoughts, ideas are welcome. Stories offer us a way to step into talking about art, craft and writing. They also open a door to talking about life. For those who are writing, this discussion can fuel stronger writing habits. For those who are reading, this is a great way to dive in, keep going and share the experience. Everyone is welcome. Honestly, it's a good time! What does it mean to be a writer? A reader?
